ilo, like many things, was born from the search for something better.
Our family has worked in the culinary industry for nearly 40 years. We like simple, good food. We like cooking it, eating it, and sitting around the table a little longer than necessary afterward.
When we decided the world might need one more olive oil brand (sorry), it was because we couldn’t find one that was organic, single-source, sustainably harvested, packaged properly, and reasonably priced. Not complicated. Just good.
So we found another family.
This family runs an olive oil mill in the heart of Córdoba, Spain, where they’ve been cultivating the same land for more than 600 years. They make exceptional oil, made with care and a generational knowledge of the land. Together, we’re proud to bring ilo into your kitchen.
We produce only one olive oil.
That's because we believe that if you have the right oil, one is all you need. Use it for sautéing, roasting, drizzling, finishing—anything that could benefit from an extra good, extra virgin olive oil.
